Located in a sensitive position close to the Grade 2 listed house after which the park is named, Rita’s Bar & Grill at Alton Towers required a building design appropriate to its setting. Its emphasis is on healthy eating choices to cater for current market trends.
A lightweight timber and glass clad structure is topped by a projecting eaves pitched roof with integral pergola. The interior is bright and simple, robust enough to withstand heavy theme park use.
