BAQUS undertook Employer's Agent and CDM Coordination services for the construction of 11 bespoke timber frame houses in central Winchester, Hampshire.
The form of construction involved several non-traditional methods such as Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), cedar cladding external fascias and standing seam ‘Falzinc’ roofing. In addition, areas of the flat roof were designed with Sedum coverings providing both ecological and visual enhancement to the overall scheme.
This project has enhanced the local community and scored well on the initial design stage HQI achieving an overall score of 76% (97% on visual impact).
