Walthamstow Bus Station, London
Walthamstow bus station is the third busiest in London and its users can now enjoy a striking new building and modern facilities at the state of the art transport interchange.
The project is the major portion of a joint venture scheme between the London Borough of Waltham Forest, London Underground and London Buses to redevelop the Town Centre of Walthamstow.
The project was led by the Borough, whose project scope is related to the surrounding street works.
The London Buses’ project comprises a complete new bus station, including new vehicle and pedestrian areas, a substantial canopy structure to provide covered passenger areas and associated buildings.
On-going services have comprised cost planning and cost checking of design development, procurement advice and preparation of tender documentation, reporting on tenders and contract appointments, preparation of valuations and post contract financial reports, agreement of final account.
