Following a competitive fee quotation we were selected to be members of a limited number of Design Teams working within a five year Framework Agreement for Surrey County Council for their Schools programme with an overall contract value of £40m. A similar short list of Contractors was agreed and the Partnering ethos encouraged utilising the PPC 2000 Form of Contract. Past projects have included Secondary, Primary and Special Educational Needs Schools. Our latest major commission for Primary Schools uses the NEC Form of Contract within the Framework on a similar basis. For Southfield Park Primary School, our Design Team was commissioned to design and develop a green field site at Epsom of some 1380m2 (gross internal floor area) with an initial budget in the region of £3 million for a single storey building, the budget was subsequently increased by the Client for a number of site additional works.
