Client: South Downs College

Baqus were commissioned to provide a Building Surveying Design Service for the installation of a part section of a Boeing 747 fuselage purchased by South Downs College from Air Salvage International to provide a realistic environment and unique facility to run an Air Cabin Crew Training course. Duties involved construction detailing for the installation and upgrading of the fuselage to achieve Building Regulation compliance and provision of suitable information to enable competitive contractor pricing. The programme for installation was fast track to achieve fixed dates for road closures for transportation of the fuselage to site and to meet College targets for occupation.
