BAQUS were pleased to be part of the team on a new state of the art, electronic computer science facility at the University of Southampton.

Director Steve Tubb and Assistant Surveyor Ashley Reuby were on hand to provide Project Management Services for the University alongside the Architect, Kendall KingScott and the Contractor, Brymor Construction.

The project involved the refurbishment and remodelling of the existing Laboratory and Teaching areas reputed to be one of the best of its kind in Europe.

With a tight, fast track programme the team worked tirelessly to ensure the facility was ready for the scheduled opening, which was critical to the Universities teaching schedule. Steve and the team were pleased to hear the University were already putting the new facility to its use only 2 days after handover!

The project value for the works at Building 59 was £1.5m which was completed on budget.

BAQUS were pleased with the result of the project, as were the client.
