BREEAM ‘Excellent’ for Mental Health Scheme

17th June 2013 | Posted in: Healthcare, Project Management, Baqus News

We are very pleased to announce that one of our healthcare projects has been awarded BREEAM 'Excellent' which is notoriously difficult to achieve in the mental health arena.

We were the Project Manager, NEC Supervisor and Project Administrator for £10,000,000 of new facilities for younger adults at St Martin's Hospital in Canterbury for Kent & Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.

The project was procured through the Procure 21 initiative; the Principal Supply Chain Partner was Kier Group working with Devereux Architects.

BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is the worlds leading and most widely used environmental assessment method for buildings.

It sets the standard for best practice in sustainable design and has become the de facto measure used to describe a building’s environmental performance.
