BAQUS were pleased to exhibit for a 3rd at the ISBA Conference 2016 last week.

Director of Oxford Office Michael Lochrie and Marketing Manager Charlotte Ridgwell attended the ISBA conference in Edinburgh setting up camp at stand 100 for the event.

On arrival the team were pleased to see that our stand was already starting to take shape, with the table and stools already in place along with the wall graphics, 20 minutes later our "pop up" wall was up and the team were good to go!

Wednesday morning got off to a great start, by midday 40 cards had already landed in our competition box and some good leads coming in too! By the close of the exhibition Wednesday the team had counted around 65+ cards in the box ready for the draw the following day!

Wednesday night, Charlotte and Michael attended the Dinner at the conference centre, both had good tables, full of lots of networking and laughter! With an around the world buffet, there was plenty of choice for food and some delicious desserts on offer!

Thursday morning a massive fry up breakie was needed to fuel the team for the day! At the conference centre the team were talking to our 'Stand Neighbours’ about the evening before and exchanging stories of our previous day! The exhibition hall had a 'buzzing' vibe to it! The bursars started to enter the hall and even though there were more seminars for the Bursars to attend, BAQUS still had lots of visitors to our stand, entering our competition and talking to us about their projects. Charlotte and Michael were joined by CEO Rob McNeill in the afternoon who was particularly impressed with location and presentation of BAQUS' stand! Networking continued and by the end of the conference Thursday, we had 110 business cards to do our draw with.

Our lovely stand neighbours CRC "using less stuff" helped draw our winners at 3.30 on Thursday which led to some very happy bursars winning some fantastic prizes.

Overall the conference has been our most successful one yet, we got to network with new faces as well as catch up with some familiar ones. Also lots of contacts made from other exhibitors who also attended the conference.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Manchester 2017!
