After almost 20 years’ absence, Eye Surgery facilities will be returned to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester, West Sussex, saving thousands of patients each year a difficult journey to Worthing for assessment and treatment.

BAQUS has been commissioned to carry out Employer’s Agent and CDM Coordinator services for the brand new Ophthalmology Examination Suite which is on the First Floor of the Hospital’s West Block and will include a separate children’s waiting area. The new operating theatre will have the latest technology available to enable surgeons to diagnose and treat diseases of the eye – cataract, macular degeneration, glaucoma. Works are currently on-site. This is the first commission from the South East Coast Collaborative Procurement Hub Framework Agreement under which BAQUS are appointed for Quantity Surveying and Project Management services.
