Baqus announces the resignation of Roger Knowles from the Board of the Group with effect from Monday, 31 August 2009.
Mr Knowles is standing down for personal reasons having served as Chairman since the Group was admitted to trading on AIM in December 2007. He will continue to act as a consultant to the Group.
Clive Sayer, Baqus Chief Executive, commented:
"On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Roger for his leadership and guidance during the flotation process and Baqus's early years on AIM. It was his vision that laid the foundations for Baqus to become one of the first publicly quoted quantity surveying companies in the UK. Going forward, the Board will operate under the firm guidance of Norman Cave, the senior Non-Executive Director."
